🐻 Ursinae

A colossal and fearsome new world boss has emerged. Ursinae, the Sacred Bear, is a gigantic magical entity that will test even the strongest players.

The Player must contribute in a mandatory requirement to be able to participate in each fight of this world boss. This mandatory contribution is as followed and is based on several factors:

• How long the boss takes to spawn: If the boss is spawned quick, the contribution is considered free.
• Beyond a certain point it becomes a small amount of mandatory contribution up to a maximum of 50 Sacred Bears kills or bones sacrificed to the Sacrificial altar. 50 is for the longest the boss takes to spawn.
• Additionally, the player is also required to deal at least 252 damage to the boss to be eligible for a drop

Some more information on how the boss spawns. It starts with a base rate of a high number, every sacred bears slain or bone sacrificed to the sacrificial altar reduces this rate until it reach's a minimum of 1 (guaranteed).

This rolls a random number each time which determines whether the boss will spawn. It's entirely possible to get a boss spawn after 1 bone sacrificed or 1 bear slain, although rare.

From Kourlamore Marketplace, Head Southwest till you see the arena.

Once player has unlocked book of Kourlamore (s) it can be used to teleport directly to bear aisle.

It is best to take mage equipment when fighting this boss due to it high range and melee defence.

In this example load-out, the player is wearing the following

• Helm: Dreamweaver Shawl
• Torso: Dreamweaver Gown
• Legs: Dreamweaver Robe
• Main Hand: Dreamweaver Staff
• Secondary Hand: Tome of Fire
• Cape: Mage Cape (obtained from mage arena mini game)
• Gloves: Barrows Gloves
• Boots: Wizard's boots (Obtained as rare drop from easy clue casket)
• Ring: Seers ring (i) (Obtained from SurviveRS minigame and imbued with using an imbue scroll

If the player has not unlocked the Dreamweaver set, you can instead take Full Mystic, Ahrim, etc.

• 2 prayer potions
• 2 - 3 Sharks
• Book of Kourlamore (s) / Book of Kourlamore / Book of Kourlamore (D) to teleport back to markeplace after completing a trip.

While in the area, keep Protect from Melee enabled to negate all attacks from the sacred bears.

The boss does three different AOE attacks and alternates between them: Blood, Lightning, Destruction attacks. The blood attack heals the boss based on damage dealt to the player. The Lightning attack has a chance to stun the player for 4 ticks (2.4 seconds). Destruction attack does extra hit damage if landed on player.

The player should move around the boss to avoid getting hit while at the same time attacking the boss.
