Black demon slayer task counts towards this boss.

If not on slayer task, you can decide to either take Dreamweaver Shawl or Nightmare Mantle.

Transportation

To get to this boss, one can use the Book of Kourlamore (D). If the player has not unlocked this book yet, one can use the Book of Kourlamore and make your way to the Kourlamore Cave.

If none of these teleports have been unlocked, you will have to talk to Veos in Port Sarim to get teleported to Kourlamore.

Fight Mechanic

The boss alternates by attacking using either Mage or Range. After every 4 hits, he switches styles.

Example Kill

In the video you will see the player running through the fire walls, if unsuccessful, you will get hit for 30ish with mage pray or up to 50 without so keep health high before risking it.

In enrage phase, the boss will start to take less damage from all sources so keep this in mind.

The best piece of advice is to always focus on mechanics before trying to finish him off because of him taking less damage while enraged. In the video you will see how the camera is positioned to always see when he swaps attacks, this is crucial since he can hit up to 60 during the latter half of the fight.
